What: Shapes express gym is completing its installation of MYTRAK and inviting the press and the public at large in for a viewing during a special open house.
With the installation MYTRAK, Shapes is a pioneer, bringing useful technology to help women meet their fitness and weight loss goals. MYTRAK started deploying its newly developed technology in August 2006, this is the second installation in the U.S. and fourth in the world.
The technology keeps the exercisers in their fitness zone and records heart rate, reps and levels of exertion. There is a graphical representation of their body on a computer screen highlighting areas of improvement, and areas the require more focus. By viewing the progress in their bodies, exercisers are motivated to stick with the exercise program. It will truly forever alter the way people get fit and lose weight.
The device is so user-friendly, exercisers, from beginners to elite athletes merely have to work hard enough to keep the display lights green.
